Divine Contrast

Pastel laces, jeweled tones beads, candy colored fabrics were mixed well with traditional material such as tenun, ikat and batik by Indonesian emerging fashion designer, Lenny Agustin. As a result, a collection of lovely attires that combines ethnicity and the upbeat and youthful mood that has become a trademark for the designer. Modern Kebaya (tradisional outfit) with dazzling embellishments were matched with less conservative bottoms, such as mini skirts, hot pants, colorful leggings and tutu skirts. Sexy and flirty twists were accentuated by using transparent blouse, midriff baring top and tight bustier. Bejeweled shoes by Le’Zilla added extra glamour to the total look. Lenny’s collection did not only energized the spirit during this cloudy rainy season, it also stated that not taking yourself too seriously (in term of dressing up) can actually result in very positive and sensual outcome.
